Sometimes bad things can happen, and occasionally you just can't remember your server's root password.
ArkHost offers you an option to reset the root account password in the Customer Area.
In the Customer Area, open your Active Cloud instance.
On the Manage Product page, select Reset Password from the menu in the left sidebar or under the Service Actions section.
Click the Reset Password icon.
Confirm the Reset/Change Server Password Pop-up.
A new password is set for the root account, which you can use to log in via the console (noVNC) from the client area or via SSH.
