Restore Cloud Instance from Backup

In this article, we will restore a Cloud Instance from Backup.

Be aware that this is only possible when the Backup option is enabled for your VM.

If you want to enable the Backup option for an existing VM, you can do so as explained in this article.

To restore a VM from Backup on ArkHost, from the main menu, click on My Services.

Select Backups from the Server Quick Actions section on the Product page.

Select a Backup to Restore from and click the View Backups.

Confirm the popup to redirect to the backups page.

Note: If you do not see the "View Backups" icon in the Server Quick Actions section, then you do not have backups enabled for the Cloud Instance.
