To set an rDNS (reverse DNS or PTR) entry for a cloud server, you first need to log into the ArkHost client area.
From the main menu, click Services, My Services.
On the My Products & Services page, select your Active Cloud Instance.
You have 2 sections:
- Primary IP Address
- Floating IP Address
To change Reverse DNS on your main IP address
from your active instance, navigate to Service Management section and select Floating IPs
To change Reverse DNS on your Floating IP address.
